Cancer Care Northwest — Deaconess & North Clinics
Creating positive, therapeutic settings for patients undergoing diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic interventions for cancer.
The design concept for these projects began with our team of designers working closely with the clinic staff. Believing that a patient's environment can play a significant role in the healing process, Cancer Care Northwest provided us with a clear direction for our design team.
Using an organic and modern approach to the patient environment, our design concepts revealed the importance of utilizing natural elements, interior materials and soothing palettes to successfully de-institutionalize the clinic, while still meeting healthcare standards and regulations. The designs also included consideration for the technical systems vital to treatment, while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing environment that is responsive to the needs of the staff and the patients.
